​Imran began his career at Infosys in October 2018, stepping into the role of a Senior Systems Engineer. Based out of the North Sydney office, he quickly became an integral part of the IT team, known for his problem-solving skills, dedication, and technical expertise. He continued to support the IT infrastructure, providing remote assistance and handling requests within the given SLA, all while dealing with the challenges of the pandemic. His steadfast commitment, even when working from home, made him a reliable pillar for the Sydney office.

However, 2020 brought unforeseen challenges for Imran. When vaccination recommendations were made for employees, Imran, assuming he was in good health, decided against getting vaccinated but didn’t disclose this to Infosys. This miscommunication eventually led to difficulties when he was unable to produce a vaccination certificate. Despite continuing to excel at his role from home, a conflict arose when it was discovered that Imran had moved to Queensland without seeking prior approval from management. This, coupled with communication issues with HR, led to a situation where his employment was ultimately terminated.

The loss of his job was a difficult time for Imran, especially as he was dealing with severe health challenges that left him weak and unable to communicate his situation clearly to HR.
